YDL is a voluntary organisation dedicated to fostering inclusivity among London-based diplomats from missions and international organisations. Our membership exceeds 2,000 individuals, providing a welcoming platform for networking, collaboration, and lifelong friendships.
Through our diverse array of social, multicultural, and integration activities, we aim to create enriching experiences for our members.
Established in 2002, YDL is recognised as one of the most dynamic associations of diplomats. Our primary focus is on facilitating the smooth integration of our members into the diplomatic community and British culture through our events and network. Additionally, we strive to enhance diplomats' understanding of the host country's issues and opportunities, leveraging London's position as one of the largest diplomatic hubs globally.
With over 2,000 contacts, including 900 diplomats and over 4,000 social media connections, YDL serves as a vital source of support and connectivity for diplomats in London. Our Executive Committee comprises diplomat members from the Middle East, North America, Europe, and East Asia, reflecting our commitment to serving our diverse community.
